Introduction: Why Should Political Theorists Care About Work?

Even though the future of work has become a significant public concern, political theory not yet considered to be central concept within discipline. The five papers in this symposium provide range perspectives on what it means take seriously thought. This introduction will give an account why should as important by theorists, contextualize broader landscape into which these intervene (characterized issues automation, precarity, and social reproduction), situate them existing writing theory.
